I am seeing some of our competitors going from 2 day training to 1 day.

This is laughable as the very minimum you need is 2 days. It takes over 3 hours to learn about the various types of stone and how it is made.

At the very least you need to know this if only as not to destroy your customers marble, limestone or whatever she or he has on the floors and walls.

Our new restorers are “Trainees” for 2 months as it takes that long to get to know the job inside out so how can you learn it in a day?

Maybe the systems are inferior, we offer Stone masonry restorative systems that have been used for generations and they are recognised as the only way to do the job by industry experts worldwide.

Or maybe they cut out the marketing part of the course, I mean, if you don’t need to learn how to find the work the short time might work I suppose!
